Because of this, you know you are choosing a holiday that is kinder to the environment. However, for those of you who would like to be more ecoconscious, why not try some of the following tips:
 
• You could recycle this brochure or pass it onto a friend who might be interested.

• In addition, you might want to provide us with your email address, so that we can email your invoices, all of your travel pack documentation and specials offers – it’s quicker and saves paper.

• Should you wish to choose a site where environmental issues take real priority, check out our sites which have the Keycamp Eco Award or Green Key icon on our site pages.

• For travel with lower carbon emissions why not consider campsites which are just a short drive away or easily accessible by train. You could even take your bicycles via the ferry or train, and cycle the remaining journey to your site, rather than using a car.

• Whilst on site, you might also want to try out the campsites own recycling programme, discover the region by public transport, or buy locally sourced produce – its much tastier!

 

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international organisation that promotes the responsible stewardship of the world’s forests. At Keycamp we are proud to say we have achieved FSC certifi cation and become part of the chain to ensure we protect our environment.

At present we are one of the only holiday companies in the world to achieve this status and ensure that all of our brochures are printed on FSC paper. The FSC trademark provides international recognition to organisations who support the growth of responsible forest management.
